Born in 1983, Laura Laine is an award-winning Finnish fashion illustrator and visual artist known for her distinctive style featuring elongated, girl-like figures with thin bodies and full, flowing hair. Her illustrations have graced the pages of major international publications like Vogue, Elle, The New York Times, The New Yorker, and The Guardian. Her client list includes renowned brands such as Sephora, Zara, H&M, GAP, and The Telegraph.
Laine's artistic talent has been showcased in exhibitions across the globe, including in the Netherlands, New York, London, Los Angeles, and her hometown of Helsinki. In 2011, she was honored with the prestigious Young Designer of the Year award.
A graduate of the University of Art and Design Helsinki with a degree in fashion design, Laura Laine's bold illustrations fuse her fashion expertise with a forceful, recognizable visual style.
Laine is currently showing at both the Ashevillelle Museum of Art for The New Salon, and Spazio Nobile Gallery in the Suomen Lasimuseo (The Finnish Glass Museum) for her solo exhibition, Nature Morte.
