Theodora Eliezer

Theodora Eliezer is a New Orleans-based antidisciplinary artist, writer, and chronomancer. Their practice is characterized by interconnected narratives in installation, performance, lens-based media, sound, digital and physical artifacts, research, and related theory. As the co-founder and creative director of Momma Tried magazine, Theodora's conceptual print publications have been stocked in locations that include the Tate Modern, the Palais de Tokyo, and MoMA PS1. Recent exhibitions and residencies include the Untitled Art Fair, the Joan Mitchell Center, Locust Projects, and Frameline Film Festival. Theodora received their MFA from the School of Visual Arts, and their current projects include inquiries into non-linear time, queer temporalities, and the intersection of magic and quantum theory.
