Melissa Monroe's artwork serves as a personal display of vulnerable emotions. As a multidisciplinary artist, Monroe expresses her visions through textiles, sculpture, and acrylic paintings. Self-taught and a full-time artist for the past nine years, she explores her spiritual practice through mask making, which is further explored through wearing and performing in the masks. Her video installations, featuring herself and the masks, are projected during live music performances.
